PRE CIVIL WAR BEATTY PEACE FLASK

A Beatty brass powder flask made in 1853. These US issue military powder flasks were generally issued with a Mississippi rifle. So-called a peace flask because of the 2 hands shaking motif on both sides. This flask is in very good condition, with US military acceptation markings, all parts are intact and operable, there are the usual minor dents but the flask is sound.
