Shipping & Returns

GENERAL POLICY:

We only accept orders originating from the United States.  We will NOT ship any item outside of the territories of the United States.  NO Exceptions!  

RETURN POLICY:

If we lived in a perfect world, everything that arrived at your home would be exactly as promised. However, we know this isn’t always the case. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund within 5 days of receipt of the product.

• ALL RETURNS REQUIRE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.  Please call us at 480-664-2226 to receive this number.  Items returned without prior contact will not be accepted.
• Please note that you are responsible for all shipping charges, including return shipping.
• There are no returns of items 5 days after receipt.
• There is a 15% restocking fee for items returned unless otherwise specified.
• All returns must come back in “shelf ready” condition, which means we can put it back in stock and sell it to the next customer who would like to purchase it.
• We cannot accept the return with any indication that it has been used or altered.

If the product arrives damaged, please contact Customer Service at 480-664-2226 or ship@dupagetrading.com within 5 business days of receipt.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours from the email order confirmation date, provided that the order has not shipped.

SALES TAX:

Sales tax will be added to your order if items are shipped within the state of Arizona. Tax will be calculated at checkout.

PAYMENT:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express from account holders with US billing addresses. We do not accept credit card payments originating outside of the United States. 

If your credit card is declined or has expired, we will contact you. If we do not hear from you within 10 business days with a correction or alternate payment method, unfortunately we will have to cancel your order. We are required by law to collect applicable state and local taxes for all shipments.

Pricing, Price Adjustments, Misprints, and Errors

Dupage Trading reserves the right to change prices, policies, and availability of products. Unfortunately, we do not give price adjustments on any previously purchased item. Dupage Trading has made every effort to ensure accurate information is presented; omissions and errors are subject to correction. All pricing is represented in US Currency.

SHIPPING:

Dupage Trading uses Federal Express, UPS and the United States Post Service. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or to PO Boxes will be shipped via USPS.  Firearms will be shipped via FedEx Ground (handguns must be shipped Express).  Most other packages are shipped via UPS Ground.  We do NOT ship any items outside of the United States.

All firearms are shipped requiring an adult signature upon delivery.  This cannot and will not be waived or removed for any reason.  Any items returned because of lack of signature will be charged a restocking fee of 15 percent. 

SHIPPING CHARGES:

Our products vary in size, weight and bulk and most are shipped to you at a price that is cheaper than our cost. We have incorporated a flat shipping cost that is very fair considering the high costs of shipping. The shipping charges are as follows:

• For most merchandise, we charge a flat rate of $15 for shipping per order when shipped within the Lower 48 states.  Shipments sent to Alaska, Hawaii will incur a $15 handling charge.  This handling charge applies to all shipments, including firearms. 
• Firearms ship for $25 plus an adult signature fee of $7.25.  This shipping fee is in addition to any other shipping fees as firearms are shipped separately.
• Some large and/or bulky items may have additional shipping charges that will be identified in their description.

Orders that mix regular shipping items and bulk shipping items will ship at the higher rate.

Our warehouse team strives to ship your merchandise within 3 days of receipt of the order; however, during periods of high order volumes, those shipping times may be extended.  Thank you for your understanding.

DAMAGES AND RETURNS:

Damages to the merchandise while in transit are rare, but they do happen. Any damage to the outside of the box or to the product itself must be recorded on the bill of lading prior to signing for the delivery.

We do not have a storefront. There are NO face to face sales. 

We do not offer local firearms transfers.  Firearms sent to Dupage Trading Company will be refused and returned to the sender.   

RESTRICTIONS BY STATE:

California: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  Cal. Pen. Code § 16740:  A “large capacity magazine” means any ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, but shall not be construed to include a feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot accommodate more than 10 rounds, any tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm, or any .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device.

Colorado: Magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds.  HB1224:  (I) A fixed or detachable magazine, box, drum, feed strip, or similar device capable of accepting, or that is designed to be readily converted to accept, more than fifteen rounds of ammunition; (II) A fixed, tubular shotgun magazine that holds more than twenty-eight inches of shotgun shells, including any extension device that is attached to the magazine and holds additional shotgun shells; or (III) A non-tubular, detachable magazine, box, drum, feed strip, or similar device that is capable of accepting more than eight shotgun shells when combined with a fixed magazine.

Connecticut: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  Conn. Gen. Stat. § 53-202p(a)(1):  Connecticut law defines “large capacity magazine” to mean any firearm magazine, belt, drum, feed strip or similar device that has the capacity of, or can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

Hawaii: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  Haw. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 134-8(c):  Hawaii prohibits the manufacture, possession, sale, barter, trade, gift, transfer, or acquisition of detachable ammunition magazines with a capacity in excess of 10 rounds which are designed for or capable of use with a pistol. The ban does not apply to magazines modified to accept 10 rounds or fewer.

Illinois: CITY OF CHICAGO

“High capacity magazine” means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device, including any such device joined or coupled with another in any manner, that has an overall capacity of more than 15 rounds of ammunition.  A “high capacity magazine” does not include an attached tubular device to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.

Maryland: Magazines capable of holding more than 20 rounds.  Md. Code Ann., Crim. Law § 4-305(b):  Maryland prohibits anyone from manufacturing, receiving, purchasing, transferring, selling, or offering for sale any detachable magazine that can hold more than 20 rounds of ammunition for a firearm. The ban does not apply to .22 caliber rifles with a tubular magazine (Md. Code Ann., Crim. Law § 4-305(a)).

Massachusetts: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  Mass. Gen. Laws Ch. 140 § 121:  A (1) fixed or detachable magazine, box, drum, feed strip or similar device capable of accepting, or that can be readily converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition or more than five shotgun shells or (2) large capacity ammunition feeding device as defined in the now-expired federal Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act as it appeared on September 13, 1994.

New Jersey: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  NJ Stat. Ann. § 2C:39-1y:  A box, drum, tube, or other container that is capable of holding more than 10 rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly into a semi-automatic firearm.

New York: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  NY Penal Code §§ 265.00(23), 265.02(8) & 265.10:  New York prohibits the manufacture, transportation, disposal, and possession of large capacity ammunition feeding devices. Prior law defined a large capacity feeding device as “a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device” manufactured after September 13, 1994 (the date the now-expired federal assault weapon and large-capacity magazine ban became effective), “that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than ten rounds of ammunition.” It excludes attached tubular devices designed to accept and capable of operating only with .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.

Major firearm components to Felons and or person(s) issued a temporary or final extreme risk protection order. § 3. Section 265.01 of the penal law "Scott J. Beigel unfinished receiver act" - "Such person possesses a major component of a firearm, rifle, or shotgun and such person is prohibited from possessing a shotgun or rifle"

Rhode Island: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. S 2653 11-47.1-2 (2) "Large capacity feeding device" means a magazine, box, drum, tube, belt, feed strip, or 13 other ammunition feeding devices which are capable of holding, or can readily be extended to hold, more than ten (10) rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm. The term shall not include an attached tubular device which is capable of holding only .22 caliber rimfire ammunition. 17 11-47.1-3. Large capacity feeding devices prohibited. No person, except for a federally licensed firearms dealer, shall manufacture, sell, offer to sell, transfer, purchase, possess, or have under his or her control a large capacity feeding device, except as otherwise authorized under this chapter. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this section shall be punished by imprisonment of not more than five (5) years, or by a fine of up to five thousand dollars ($5,000), and the large capacity feeding device shall be subject to forfeiture.

Vermont:  Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds for a rifle and more than 15 rounds for a hand gun. VT. Gen. Law Act 94/S.55 13 V.S.A. § 402:A person shall not manufacture, possess, transfer, offer for sale, purchase, or receive or import into this State a large capacity ammunition feeding device. “Large capacity ammunition feeding device” means a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept: more than 10 rounds of ammunition for a long gun; or more than 15 rounds of ammunition for a hand gun. It excludes an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.

Washington State: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds - Senate Bill 5078. Components for fully automatic fire.  Parts Kits are not available for sale to Washington State, whole or in part. Wash. Rev. Code Ann. § 9.41.190(1):  Washington prohibits any person from manufacturing, owning, buying, selling, loaning, furnishing, transporting, or having in his or her possession or under his or her control any machine gun, or any part designed and intended solely and exclusively for use in a machine gun, to convert a weapon into a machine gun, or to assemble or repair any machine gun.

Washington D.C.: Magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  D.C. Code Ann. § 7-2506.01(b): D.C. defines a “large capacity ammunition feeding device” as a magazine, belt, drum, feed strip, or similar device that has a capacity of, or that can be readily restored or converted to accept, more than 10 rounds of ammunition. The term does not apply to attached tubular devices designed to accept and capable of operating only with .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.
