1944/ 45 vintage M1 rifle stock set. The stock has no cracks, no rebuild markings, and no repairs. A rack number 494 is stamped on the bottom of the pistol grip. the number 52 is painted on the right side. Minimum number of dents or bruises over an original ancient patina. The cartouche, crossed cannons, and firing proof are sharp and distinct. A set of original metal components is included. A front and rear handguard that closely matches the stock is provided. (the hand guards are over 75 years old, one must expect possible hairline cracks.)
