NEW ITEM

Newly manufactured M14 stock that utilizes an M1 Buttplate!  All metal included.  Save $10 when you buy the handguard as a set.

As originally issued in 1957, the M14 rifle was an elegant weapon of walnut and steel…no fiberglass and no gimmicks.  The first M14s used the original flat M1 Garand buttplate and a walnut handguard as seen on the developmental prototype, the T44E4 rifle.  This was the rifle that beat out the FN-FAL in US Army trials.

The now familiar hinged, flip-up style buttplate and fiberglass handguard were not introduced until July of 1960.  This flip-up style buttplate was created to help the US rifleman better manage full-automatic fire.  This type of buttplate offers no value to the current civilian rifleman and is considerably less comfortable to shoot.

We have created a faithful reproduction of the original M14 stock, including the M1 style buttplate.  We matched the original USGI external profile and precision CNC inletted the stock for a drop in fit.  We have eliminated the unsightly Full Auto Selector cutout on the right side of the stock that is unnecessary on semi-automatic M14s and M1A’s.  Our stock is proudly made in the United States out of 100 percent American Black Walnut sourced from American forests.

Sold as a direct drop-in replacement, including all of the stock metal.  This stock will fit nearly all M14 clones, including the Springfield M1A and the SOCOM.  This stock does not fit lugged receivers such as the M1A Super Match.

Pair with our walnut M14 handguard to make a faithful reproduction of an early “as issued” M14 rifle.  Save $10 when you order the handguard as a set (use the drop down box above).

Includes M1 Buttplate, rear sling swivel, front sling swivel, front ferrule, and stock liner.
