M1 Garand Vintage Stock Set
Now available – a new version of the Dupage M1 Garand stock set, offered with a dark walnut finish that resembles a vintage WW2 stock.
This is a new production stock, manufactured from 100 percent American Black Walnut, that is engineered to be a drop in fit for all M1 Garand rifles. These are the same as our current M1 stock set but with a darker color and a proprietary finish that gives the appearance of a new condition vintage stock set with a pleasing patina. This is a great option for those that want a new stock for their rifle, but want to maintain the seasoned US Military issued look of the M1 Garand.
FINISH
We use a proprietary formula to attain the vintage look, however this stock set has a traditional finish hand applied to the wood, so it is ready to go out of the box and will provide years of protection to the wood. No need to apply additional finishing products to the stock or handguards such as linseed or tung oils.
Because the finish is individually applied, you can expect slight color variations from the sample photos above. However, the stock and handguards will match.

METAL OPTIONS
- Included free of charge with our finished stock set is a Pre-Installed rear handguard clip.
- As an option, you may purchase a stock with all the metal installed for a true drop in ready fit. The metal set is newly manufactured with a gray parkerized finish. Included is a front ferrule, butt plate, both butt plate screws, rear sling swivel, and all handguard metal (a lower band is NOT included, but offered separately).
- A Lower Band is available for an extra charge.

FITTING
The Dupage stock is manufactured to be as close as a drop in replacement stock as possible for all M1 Garand rifles. Little to no fitting is required for proper rifle function and MIL-SPEC accuracy. Initially, you may experience difficulty locking the trigger guard during reassembly. This is not a defect, a tight lock up is conducive to good accuracy. When installing our stock the first few times, you may need to use a rubber/nylon mallet to close the trigger guard…no different than the original armorers did at Springfield Armory when the rifle was first manufactured.
