1943/44 vintage M1 rifle stock. This stock has no cracks, no rebuild markings, no repairs. A rack number 46 Is stamped on the top of the butt area. Dents and bruises as one might expect on a 75 plus year old stock. The cartouche is clear as is the firing proof and stock inspector stamp on the bottom of the pistol grip. The crossed cannons are faint but visible. No metal components accompany the stock.
