1944 vintage M1 rifle stock set. The stock has no cracks, no rebuild markings, no rack numbers, and no repairs. Numerous dents and bruises as one should expect from a stock that's over 80 years old. Original ancient patina. The cartouche and crossed cannons are clear and distinct with the exception of the upper portion of the cartouche due to the curvature of the stock. The firing proof and ordnance stock inspector cartouche on the bottom of the pistol grip are also both sharp and distinct. The original metal components on the handguards and stock are included.
