10 inch WW2 type M1 Garand bayonet made in Germany on a US Government contract by E F Horster in the mid 1950's. EF Horster was the main manufacturer of German army bayonets from 1885 through 1945. The contracted bayonets were added with the M1 rifles for the Greek army. Identical to and all parts interchange with World War II production US-made bayonets. These M1 bayonets will also fit M1903, M1903A3, and Krag M1898 rifles. The condition is very good with a grey finish. The bayonet will arrive with heavy coat of preservative.
