Outstanding 1943 vintage M1 rifle stock set. This stock has no cracks, no rebuild markings, no rack numbers, and no repairs. The stock has a minimum number of dents or bruises, the worst is next to the cartouche. An ancient 80 plus year old patina. Sharp edge to the pistol grip indicating never sanded . The cartouche and crossed cannons our sharp and distinct. The firing proof is visible however the top and bottom portions appear to be worn. The bottom of the pistol grip has been sanded. While not illustrated, a matching set of hand guards is included, all original metal components are in very good condition .
