1943 vintage M1 rifle stock. The stock has no cracks or rack numbers. An ancient repair is present behind the rear sling swivel. Other than this repair there are practically no dents or bruises on the entire stock. Exceptional condition. The cartouche and crossed cannons are barely visible, a Anniston AL inspection stamp has been applied over the original cartouche. The clip latch tail inlet is scooped indicating an early production Earl Mcfarland inspected stock. No metal components are included.
