1942 vintage M1 rifle stock. The stock has no rack numbers, or rebuild markings. A repaired crack is present on the top of the pistol grip as in the image. The clip tail inlet is scooped instead of drilled straight in indicating 1942 manufacture. A tiny portion on the toe is worn away. Practically no dents or bruises, sharp edge to the pistol grip. The cartouche, crossed cannons and firing proof are very sharp. A supercondition example of an early M1 rifle stock with the exception of the repaired crack.
