Original model 1899 Krag carbine hand guards. The first model 1899 carbines were fitted with a model 1896 rear sight. This handguard is the proper one for that model. The hand guards offered here are used and will show use in the field with dents and bruises, possible slight repairs. Very very hard item to find. Pictured is a typical example.
